Florida Gulf Coast Fishing Report Week of 9/10/2008

Rough weather caused by the passing of Huricane Ike kept fishing to a minimal offshore, however permitted some good inshore fishing.
Capt. Sam Kimball of Legend Charters out of Cortez said he managed only one trip out to deep water due to the weather, and caught grouper, snapper and amberjack.
Capt. Mark Johnston of Legend Charters said he’s catching limit catches of snook on almost every trip, as well as redfish and trout.
Capt. Rick Gross on Fishy Business out of Catchers Marina in Holmes Beach said he had limit catches of snook and redfish.
