Week of April 1, 2008 Florida Gulf of Mexico Fishing Report

Capt. Scott Greer of Stray Dog Charters out of Cortez Florida has been doing what he does best… Catching large red and gag grouper along with some amberjack when winds have permitted to get offshore.
Capt. Sam Kimball of Legend Charters out of Bradenton Florida, said high winds kept him close to shore, where he caught a bunch of redfish, trout and sheepshead.
Capt. Larry McGuire of Show Me The Fish Charters out of Cortez Florida, said fishing is hot offshore of Anna Maria Island.
